Kathryn Jane Ellis, 69, of Linton, passed away Friday July 6, 2007 at her residence.

She was born in Sullivan County on Jan. 15, 1938 to Lee Rooksberry and Helen Clark Rooksberry.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Kathryn was a retired registered nurse, and a myotherapist.

She is survived by one son ,David Goodman of Los Angeles, CA. two daughters; Donna Kay Goodman of Linton, and Lisa Anderson of Spencer; two brothers; Robert Rooksberry of Carlisle and Dink Rooksberry of Bucktown, two sisters; Mildred Fuller of Connersville, and Margaret Savage of Plainfield; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Leon Ellis in April 2007; and one son, Terry Wayne Goodman.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger with Bishop Joe Wilson officiating. Burial in the Woodward Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday and before services on Wednesday.
