Born July 26, 1921 in Delphi, she was the daughter of Clifford and Faye (Bending) Peters.
She was a homemaker and also worked at the former Pielmeier Drug Store in Bloomfield. She was a member of the Bloomfield First Christian Church and the Mineral Ladies Aid.
Surviving relatives include: two daughters, Sharon Mathews of Fort Wayne and Martha East of Bloomington; three sons, Edward England of Worthington, Gerry and Terry England, both of Bloomfield; one sister, Phyllis England of Delphi; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Jerry Wayne England; one grandson, Bobby England; one sister, Janet Lee Peters; and one daughter-in-law, Sharon K. England.
Graveside services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday July 5, 2007 at IOOF Odd Fellows Cemetery in Brookston with Rev. Dave Wilde officiating.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the Parkinson Foundation in care of the funeral home.
