Sylvanus "Junior" Daniels, Jr., 83 of Montezuma died 8:35 pm Monday, June 25, 2007 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. 

He was born Sept. 10, 1923 in Jasonville, to Sylvanus Daniels, Sr. and Emma Daniels. 

He was a retired laborer employed with J.L. Wilson Construction in Bloomfield. He was a World War II United States Army veteran.  He was a member of American Legion Post No. 184 of Newport, F&AM Lodge 707 of Bloomfield, Scottish Rite of Terre Haute and One Half Century Club of Clinton. Survivors include his wife, Mary Daniels; one daughter, Vickie Daniels of Columbus; one sister, Elsie Marie Royal of Bloomfield; two sister-in-laws; Laurie Davis and Doris Davis; several nieces and nephews. 

Services will be 1 pm Friday at Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W. Howard St., Rockville, IN  47872 with Rev. Keith McIntyre officiating.  Burial with military rites will follow service in Beacon Hill Cemetery south of Rockville. 

Visitation will be 4-8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
