Clarence Friederich Langhans

Clarence Friederich Langhans, 94, of Moscow, Idaho, passed away at 11:46 a.m., Wednesday June 20, 2007 at Good Samaritan Village in Moscow, Idaho.

Born August 3, 1912 in Hay Creek, MN, he was the son of Erwin and Emma (Horn) Langhans.

He was a minister in the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod.

Surviving relatives include: five children, Doris Rice of Moscow, Idaho. Mark Langhans of Post Falls, Idaho. Marcia Powers of Lyons, Janet Green Lyons and Philip Langhans of Lyons; one sister, Lydia Koth of Alta, IA; 12 grandchildren, Gretchen Rice, Heidi Rice, Becky Cates, Julie Musella, E'rie Cox, Scott Powers, Pete Powers, Megan Green, Molly Green, Brook Green, Adam Langhans and Jamie Langhans; and one great-grandson Luke Powers.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Jean Langhans; brothers and sisters, Edwin Langhans, Mildred Seeback, Rueban Langhans, Arnold Langhans and Lawrence Langhans; and his parents.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Pastor Larry Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Chapel Cemetery near Lyons.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of services on Friday.
