Richard Dean Cline, 80, of Linton, passed away at 10:30 a.m. Sunday June 24, 2007 at Oak Village in Oaktown.

Born in Linton, on Jan. 13, 1927, he was the son of Emerson Cline and Thelma Reel Cline.

He was an Army Veteran in the Korean War, He retired from IBEW No.789 In Phoenix, AZ., and was a member of the Moose Lodge, VFW Post No. 7118, and American Legion Post No. 22 -- all of Linton.

Survivors include: his wife Catherine J. Morgan Cline of Linton; a brother Norman Cline of Indianapolis; a nephew, Bill E. Cline; and a niece, Sondra Cline.

There will be no visitation. Cremation is scheduled.

Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger is in charge of arrangements.
