Elvie Mayfield Walters

Elvie Mayfield Walters, 91, of Dugger, passed away at 9 p.m. Saturday June 23, 2007 at Millers Merry Manor in Sullivan.

Born in Sullivan Co., Indiana May 8, 1916 to William Moore and Manda Bedwell Moore.

She was a member of the White Rose Pentecostal Church.

She is survived by two daughters; Beverly Wiseman of Dugger, and Brenda Guinn and husband Ron of Clinton; two step sons, Paul Walters and Rex Walters both of Freelandville; two grandchildren, Randy Wiseman, and Rhonda Landis; four step-grandchildren, two great grandchildren and eight step great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger with Rev. Larry Goodman officiating. Burial in the Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday.
