Marie Fidler

Marie Fidler, 81, of Lyons and formerly of Pleasantville, passed away at 1:30 a.m. Friday. June 22, 2007 at Lyons Health and Living Center.

Born Aug. 29, 1925 in Sullivan County, she was the daughter of Walter Buchanan and Melinda Buchanan.

Survivors include: her husband, John Calvin Fidler of Lyons; a son, John Fidler, Jr. and wife, Jenny, of Linton; four daughters, Lynn Whalen and husband, Greg, of Elkhart; Kim Cruz and husband, Juan, of Lawrenceville, IL; Lori Mitchell and husband, Michael, of Missouri; and Kathy Fidler of Dugger; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Indian Prairie Cemetery with Rev. Paul Jones officiating.

Visitation will be held frpom 10 a.m. until noon on Monday at Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger.
