Helen Loriese Flynn Ray, 73, of Indianapolis passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2007.

Born July 6, 1933 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Joseph Leroy and Dara Ellen Meurer Flynn.

She worked as a meatcutter at Monty's Supermarket and as an assembler at RCA an General Electric before retiring in 1996.

She was a member of Hope Baptist Church.

Survivors include: her husband, Albert Ray, Sr.; sons, Steven Wayne Ray, Albert Ray, Jr., and John David Ray; daughters, Charolette G. Ray and Anita Jane Earl; 18 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; five step great-grandchildren; brothers, James Flynn and Frank Flynn; sisters Mary Weaver and Barbara Reed.

She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Duane Ray.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Hope Baptist Church in Indianapolis. Graveside sevices will also be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Worthington Cemetery.

Friends may call at Family Funeral Care from 4-8 p.m. Thursday.
