But for a group of about 90 people enrolled in Indiana University’s Diving Safety Program, the objects submerged at the reclaimed coal pit-turned-underwater park at Sunset, including a school bus, several cars, platforms, sunken boats and an obstacle course filled with challenges provide invaluable training opportunities and the chance to become certified in diving safety to conduct scientific research, take part in underwater rescue and recovery efforts and teach other divers safety techniques.. ...
