Wagler Education graduates 306 this year, holds ceremony in Lyons

A crowd of 684 gathered at Wagler Motorsports Park last Friday evening to celebrate the graduates of Wagler Education and Training Center (WETC). WETC graduated 306 students this year, with 76 earning a high school equivalency and 91 students achieving their CDL-A. The remaining students earned certification in welding, CNC, CNA, clinical medical assistant and teaching assistant. Humane Society to hold annual Summer Mini-Carnival July 22

The Greene County Humane Society, located at 1026 N 1375 W in Linton, will hold its annual Summer Mini-Carnival from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 22 in the Humane Society parking lot. Admission is free, and visitors can enjoy food vendors, pet-related vendors, a bounce house for kids, photo booth, adoption opportunities, the Versiti blood bus, midway games and prizes and face painting.
