Jeep collides with train near Vicksburg; four sent to hospital

VICKSBURG -- A six-year-old boy was airlifted to an Indianapolis hospital and three other people sustained minor injuries in a Jeep-train accident Friday afternoon in Wright Township. At 3:32 p.m., Indiana State Police along with area emergency response personnel, responded to a vehicle vs. train crash on County Road 400 North, approximately 1/2 mile West of State Road 59 that sent four occupants of the vehicle to the hospital, according to Indiana State Police Sgt. Curt Durnil, who works out of the Bloomington Post.
