Commissioners want to take care of bill

The Greene County Commissioners took action Tuesday morning to clear up an overdue $165,444 bill to an Indianapolis engineering firm that has been tabled by the county council since April. The commissioners voted 3-0 to recommend to the council that the invoices be paid and directed county auditor Dave Bailey to advertise for an appropriation from the E-911 budget to cover the invoices for the cost of aerial photography and field verification of addresses for a new pinpoint mapping service that is used by the county's E-911 system. ...

Solid Waste board puts vote on fee on hold
