Group wants to make Goosepond public

A movement is under way to acquire the Goosepond property, south of Linton, from owner Maurice Wilder if a federal grant can be obtained from the Indiana Department of Transportation. A federal wetlands restoration project is currently under way on the property to restore it to its once-natural state as a wetlands and conserve it for future generations. Repairs needed for Bloomfield pool
