Tween Radio? No Thanks!

I can't stand the thought of having to pay for radio on Sirius or XM, but I was almost to that point. Then I discovered a new radio station.
If you share my frustration with the other "local" stations, and you're tired of having tweens pick the same 10 songs to be played over-and-over again (100.7 MIX-FM), or you're just sick of the non-stop commercials (HI-99), take a listen to a world-class rock station: 92.3 WTTS. Although I still mourn the loss of 107.5 WZZQ from time-to-time, 92.3 has made up for it! Comments Showing comments in chronological order [Show most recent comments first] |

I too often mourn the absence of 107.5 and would rather ram ice picks in my ears than listen to 100.7. I am glad that I have an iPod to hook into my car stereo.
I have often considered starting a pirate radio station. Pirate Cat Radio has even found a semi-legal way to run one. http://www.piratecatradio.com
You're just now finding out about 92.3?
92.3 is nice when you first find it, but then when you start hearing: A) the same songs over and over again, and B) More crap music, you realize they're just another station out to make a buck that doesn't care about what the listeners want.
You need to check out 95.9 FM The Valley...unless it's changed it's a pretty good station!
You mean "The River," Polar Bear?
NO, I mean the Valley...

jimmyjojingle, the river is 105.5
Sorry, Polar. I thought I was still in Chicago for a moment...
I moved to XM a few weeks ago and my holsteins have paid me back with higher milk production. They particularly enjoy 70's music. XM has been a investment that has paid off.
www.slacker.com It's free and allows you pick whatever you feel like hearing. It also allows you to ban certain songs or save as a favorite.
