Greene County's Tax Sale Cometh

Greene County's tax sale will be on 09/18/2008 this year. It will begin at 10:00 AM at the Courthouse, according to SRI, Inc., the tax lien auctioneer.

If you're behind on your property taxes, your name and property may just be listed in the sale, depending on how far behind you are.

Thank you. America needs the Sons of Liberty now more than ever before. Perhaps the silent majority will arrive at the election polls and preserve America's great Constitutional Republic under God.

If we should think that we will leave a better America for our children and grandchildren, then we should also think that unreasonable taxes are unacceptable and not tolerated!

Dairyman, not advocating, just educating on how these sales work. Unfortunately, many find out how they work the hard way.

And you didn't even have to pay the $199.99 for the "system" off late-night TV that would have probably explained less than what I wrote in my post from last year...

Chris, apparently you've spent way too much time watching infomercials on how to get rich by buying homes for pennies on the dollar. It appears you've been in the banking business too long by advocating greed and the taking advantage of other's misfortune.

Prperty tax is a scam, much like the death tax and capital gains tax.

I have a feeling we are on the tip of the iceberg for taxes. With all the global warming hoax, a carbon tax is coming.

There is not one person I know that deserves to pay a carbon tax. Thanks to liberal lawmakers, lawyers like Al Gore and a few sorry scientists (most are hired by the United Nations), we are going to experience a socialist take-over. If voters don't take control soon, we will be replacing our Constitution with a Marxist manifesto.

People, think before you vote, or you will certainly see "change you can believe in"... change to a socialist country and freedom will be a thing of the past.

congratulations to Greene county for taking all those houses and properties away from people.

They should be proud....

The state should go to all sales tax and no property tax.
