BANG! BOOM!

Pulling into the parking lot we heard multiple shots of gunfire. "This is going to be interesting" I said to "E". We were about to embark on our first dinner at The Grill on the Hill.
Upon finding a table and sitting down we were immediately greeted by our server who took our drink order and informed us of the evening specials. We started out with the Buffalo Chips. The were thick slices of very well seasoned potato. At first, I thought they were just like the Curly Fries at Arby's, but then the heat hit me. I probably had to have two refills on my drink before they were finished. Man they were good. For my entree I ordered the Monterrey Chicken and Baked Potato. It is a grilled barbecued chicken breast with bacon, barbecue sauce and cheese. It was HUGE! I don't know where they got this chicken from, but the House Government Reform Committee should ask some questions when the get done with baseball. My dinner was very tasty. I really enjoyed that I could actually taste the grill on my food for once. "E" had the Filet which was on special that night. It came out a little undercooked to her liking, but it was cooked exactly how she asked for it, and it was extremely delicious. After dinner, I had to give her a lesson on beef and cuts of steak. After fifteen minutes, I think I might have gotten her to understand. Maybe next time she orders steak, she will recall our little conversation on T-Bone, Porterhouse, Strip and Filet steaks and order it how she really wants it cooked. The occasional muffled gunshot was tolerable, but once or twice I thought there was a twenty-one gun salute going on. All in all though, our dinner was BANG!! on. I'm a big fan of the Grill on the Hill. Their ribeye sandwiches and Italian creme cake are really good!
The Grill on the Hill is the best place in town to eat. Its a family owned and operated business. If anyone has not been I would def recomend it. and yes the Italian creme cake is awesome!
