What a weekend we just had. The Linton Music Fest was rockin', and so was the food. On opening night I tried the barbecue sandwich from the Rotary Club. It was delicious, though like Chris said, not Quite spicy enough for my taste. For lunch on Saturday, my wife delivered a cheeseburger to me. I am not sure where it was from, but it was pretty good. For dinner, I had the chili pie from Chadd's trailer. It was huge. With Frito's corn chip's, it had chili, sour cream, cheese, and a few shots of taco sauce, it took everything I had to finish it. This was quite possibly my favorite meal from the weekend. Sunday, my wife and I shared a smoked turkey leg from Sarge's. My wife loved it. I also had a grilled cheese sandwich from Nature's Plate. Not usually willing to turn down a new take on an American classic, I took him up on the garlic powder sprinkled on my sandwich. I now have a new way to make grilled cheese for the rest of my life.

China Sea has some new digs. It has moved across the parking lot into the old La Fiesta (old Pizza Hut) spot. The new spot faintly resembles the old place, but really shows what I always knew it could be. The buffet has doubles in size, now offering Sesame Chicken, Peppered Chicken, Double Cooked Pork with Cabbage, and Egg Foo Yung. Also new is the lack of canned soda in exchange for a fountain Coke machine. Go check out the (old) new China Sea. It will be worth it.

I haven't been to the new China Sea yet, but I hope they really dress the place up. Their old bare walls were just sad.

I hope that they don't play american country music in there anymore. That just did not feel authentic to me at all. At least the mexican restaurant plays spanish music.

What happened to La Fiesta?

EggMan-

La Fiesta moved out of the spot where Pizza Hut was quite awhile ago. They moved over into where radio shack and part of the grocery store were. So La Fiesta and China Sea are now neighbors. Now all we need is an Indian or Thai restaurant to move into that strip.
