I'm back for more -- you can't get rid of me that easy. It's been a couple of weeks since I've written a viewpoint-- May 26 there was no paper due to Memorial Day and I was on vacation last week. But, I still don't have much to say other than I could use another week off. Wink, wink, nod. One of my vacation highlights was my last day off -- Sunday, June 7. Allow me to share. On Sunday, I took Ramsey, my 14-year-old son, to Vincennes University for SINE's technology explorer camp. He's staying in the dorm with several other students from the area and learning about robotics and other technology. So far, he's had a blast and referred to the camp as "awesome." By the way, the students will take a tour of Metal Technologies in Bloomfield on Tuesday. (I warned him I may stalk.) Joking ... Anyway, back to Sunday -- this was also the day that Kade and I ventured to Bloomington's Crazy Horse for his gig. For those of you who are unaware I've been dabbling in music management. (That means I'm the husband's boss. But aren't all wives?)
Anyway, I'm super proud of his performance on Sunday. He was on FIRE. The crowd was super-friendly and also received Kade very well. By the way, one person couldn't believe Kade was from Greene County. Now, I'm asking is that a compliment or not? (Wonder how many readers will take that wrong.) If we can't brag on those we love then what do we have to say ... Comments have been disabled for this blog post. |
