Can you help?

Today I received an e-mail from a concerned resident who found a lost and injured male pup in Worthington on Tuesday. The concerned resident also asked for my help in getting the word out. So, here it is. According to the resident, the lost pup is "super-friendly" and is probably someone's pet. Today, the lost pup is on his way to the vet to get treatment for a leg injury. The resident seems to think he was hit by a car. The pup is a male mixed-breed with spots. He's brown and white in color. In a brief Wednesday morning interview, the concerned Worthington resident said, "He (the pup) was running around in the neighborhood (yesterday) trying to get help and everyone ignored him." Last night, she brought the pup inside and gave him a blanket and fed him. But, just exactly where the dog was injured is unclear because according to the resident he was spotted in several locations before she found him. If you recognize the pup, please call 875-3504. And to the concerned resident who stepped up and offered help to the pup, thank you for showing some love. See there is hope in the world. Thanks so much Timberly for putting this up here!!! The pup went to the vet this afternoon and it is believed the pup has his leg out of socket. The vet gave him some meds and we are going to wait a few more days to see if his leg will pop back into socket. If it doesn't, then we will have to knock him out and put it back in place for him. But the good news is his leg is not broken and his injuries are not severe. He seems to feel a bit better today now that he has a warm dry place to eat and sleep.
I'll keep him until he's well but if an owner doesn't come forward, I'll be finding him a new home. If anyone is interested in owning this adorable, fuzzy, gentle, playful, quiet, well-behaved, potty trained pup please contact someone at the number above. He'd be a great family dog and he likes other dogs and cats!!!
In aiming to solve the bigger problem that leads to these kinds of sad situ's (of unwanted/uncared for pets) PLEASE, PLEASE get this dog neutered before placing him in a new home! Promises from a new home that it will get done, frequently aren't followed through on. Hope he gets well soon and finds a truly wonderful forever home.
I wish that more people would be like polar bear.
The pup is so sweet I had the honor of meeting him . Good luck.
Thank You polarbear! My heart always goes out to animals that are lost or abandoned. I hope he finds a good home, if we could afford another animal, I'd be first in line. Again, ty for following your heart and helping this little guy.
