So are we ready to gripe, complain and moan some more?

You know we've got it pretty good. But, we still think we have it bad.

Instead of griping, how about being grateful for what we do have?

A house, some food, family and more.

Too many people are too quick to rant and rave.

The price of coffee. The price of gas. This sad world. What ever will we do?

I have a good inkling that we'll all do the same thing that we always do.

Get up. Go to work. And complain some more.

I don't know about you guys but I feel fine. And the finer I feel the sweeter the deal.

Yes, it's true I'm happy to be alive. Happy for me and happy for you.

How about we all make a pact? You know a deal. See if we can live just one day of our glorious lives without pointing our fingers at someone else.

I don't know about you guys, but I keep trying to remember that the problem I see in another is only a recognizable characteristic in me.

Sometimes it's hard and sometimes it's not.

How about spending some time simply being alive?

Forget about what you think you need or can get.

Why not:

Love a person for who he is and not what he can give you.

Greet a person with a smile because you wish to be greeted with the same.

Help a person because you remember how it feels to be helped.

Start living from your heart instead of your head.

So, smile more, laugh harder and be true to your heart.

We all have one. Somewhere in there.

Yeah, even you.

I thank God daily for bringing me and my family through many tough times. Now when something happens, I just smile and trust God for the outcome. Our little ups and downs, if treated properly, will teach us many things. I whole heartedly agree with Timberly on the things she mentioned under "why not". Jesus taught us to love one another as He loved us! Try it sometime....it will improve your life tremendously!

Today is a good day because I woke up; that's all I should really have to say. I do love to argue, bicker, and debate, but on such a nice Earth Day as today I will try to spare everyone.

Well, it's a hard habit to break, so maybe if I just point the wrong finger it'll be just as good as not pointing it at all:

I heard a rumor that it's Timberly's fault we have high gas prices ;)

So our (are) we ready to gripe, complain and moan some more?

couldn't resist.

As far as what I'm thankful for, i am thankful for a God who is holy, just, righteous. i am so thankful for God saving a wretched sinner like me. i know that if God gave me justice and gave me what i deserve, He would pour out His just wrath on me and grind me to powder before sending ever little piece left of me to Hell. But because God is rich in mercy He gave His Son, Jesus Christ, to suffer and die on the cross for my sins. Jesus took the punishment on the cross for my sins.

"Amazing love, How can it be. That You, my King, would die for me?"

That doesn't even begin to express just how thankful i am.

Today is a good day! I called in "sick" and went mushroom hunting. It was the "best day ever", to steal a quote from Mr. Spongebob. As soon as I made it to the woods, I stopped feeling guilty about being sick. We found 122 Morels and almost as many ticks! :) I thoroughly enjoyed playing in the woods on Earth day.

I really appreciate all of the positive sharing...being grateful is somewhat contagious and this is a good thing.

Okay Timberly your day of politeness is over. Let's get to the arguing.

BTW I saw that you overwatered your garden. What happened?

I didn't 'overwater' my garden....it's a long story...I wish I could share but I cannot. Thanks for asking though...glad I'm not the only one concerned!
