It's time to blog

Hello there and welcome to "Over the Counter."

My name is Timberly Ferree and for those of you who aren't already familiar with me I am a staff writer for the Greene County Daily World.

My first mission in establishing this blog was to come up with a name for it. Here are few that didn't make the cut: Against All Blogs, Private Blogger, Beyond the G.C. and Censor This!

What's in a name anyway?

"Over the Counter" will mostly consist of my viewpoints, a few random thoughts and some possible ranting all mixed in with a shimmer of light.

Visit often. I may not have the cure but surely there's something to be found "Over the Counter."

I'll take anything you have for arthritis and alzheimers....no wait it wasn't arthritis, or was it? Maybe it was, I can't remember.

Good luck with your Blog. Remember this, if you rant too much, Chris will deduct it from your pay and probably make the rest of us run laps after dinner.
